Urology Physician - Now Hiring

Looking for a locum (or locum-to-perm) Urologist in Kentucky to provide inpatient call coverage 2 3 weekends per month. The physician will manage all urology consults, round on inpatient cases, and perform necessary procedures and surgeries, with access to three robotic systems if desired. This role supports the existing team by providing weekend relief for the employed physician.

• Coverage: 1 2 weekends per month

• Typical Shift Window: Thursday or Friday AM Monday AM

• Setting: Inpatient, hospital-based

• No other urologists onsite during assignment

• Reason for Coverage: Additional inpatient support needed

• Team Structure:

  • 1 MD for inpatient

  • 2 APRNs (clinic only; no inpatient support)

• Duties:

  • On-call coverage

  • Inpatient rounding

  • Consult management

  • Performing procedures/surgeries

• Procedures Required:

  • General Urology

  • Advanced endoscopic techniques

  • Ureteroscopy

  • Laser certification

• Robotics: 3 robots available; use optional

• Onsite Resources: Labs & X-ray

• Credentialing: 90 days; temp privileges available

• Travel: Standard/economy; lodging capped at $150/night

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible Required

• Kentucky License preferred; IMLC accepted

• BLS/ACLS Required

• Flu Vaccine Required

• COVID-19 Vaccination Highly preferred
