? A well-established and rapidly growing heavy industrial fabrication company is seeking a Heavy Industrial & Complex Fabrication Estimator to join its expanding team. This role is critical in developing precise, competitive bids for large-scale, complex, and custom industrial fabrication projects.

? Key Duties

• Analyze complex engineering drawings, technical documents, and fabrication specifications
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for heavy industrial components and assemblies
• Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, fabrication supervisors, vendors, and customers to define project requirements
• Source specialized materials, equipment, and services; obtain vendor and subcontractor quotations
• Generate purchase orders and assist with comprehensive bid proposal packages
• Support estimating for complex, high-tolerance, multi-process fabrication projects including heavy weldments, pressure-retaining components, and critical-service industrial structures
• Participate in project kickoff meetings and scope-review sessions to ensure alignment with customer expectations

✅ What You’ll Need

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in estimating heavy industrial, complex, or custom fabrication projects (required)
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and advanced spreadsheet tools
• Practical experience in heavy fabrication, machining, welding, or industrial assembly
• Knowledge of applicable industry standards and codes (AWS, ASME, AISC, or similar)
• Experience using estimating software (such as Tekla, FabTrol, or similar platforms)
