We're looking for a skilled Project Manager to join our new Core Retail Platform (CRP) Programme. This is a unique opportunity to lead end-to-end project delivery within a large-scale business and technology transformation project. You’ll work closely with the Programme Manager and various internal and external stakeholders to manage project delivery, dependencies, risks, and ensure project governance is upheld. You'll be a central point of coordination, driving process and ensuring our new platform is delivered successfully.
In this role, you will:
- Contribute to the implementation of the Core Retail Platform (CRP), leading end-to-end project delivery.
- Collaborate with the Programme Manager and project team to develop and execute work plans, identifying and acquiring resources.
- Manage project dependencies, identifying risks and devising contingency plans.
- Document and report against key milestones, ensuring any deviations or potential impacts to delivery timelines are communicated to the Programme Manager.
- Engage with the vendor to ensure contract compliance and performance delivery meets transformation objectives and adheres to the project work plan.
- Monitor adherence to project governance frameworks and principles including issue management and change control.
- Maintain regular and deliberate communication with key stakeholders at all levels to drive effective delivery, foster alignment and commitment to the project, as well as embed change initiatives.
- Analyse and report on the progress of the project including identifying risks and adjusting plans as needed.
- Ensure all project documentation, project plans and reports are accurate, complete and up to date, communicating regularly with stakeholders.
- Regularly communicate project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues to the Programme Manager.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, supporting large-scale technology transformation projects.
- Experience in JIRA/Confluence is mandatory.
- Extensive experience providing reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Exceptional administration skills and high attention to detail.
- Understanding of project management methodologies.
- A Continuous improvement approach.
- Experience in working in Retail Operations (Front office, Back office & Workforce Planning etc).
- Scheduling experience, including competency in Atlassian project management tools and plugins.
- Change Management experience and having previously worked in the Energy industry is desirable.
