• Current BLS certification

Job Overview

The Optometrist provides comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages in an outpatient clinic environment. Responsibilities include performing routine and medically based eye exams, evaluating visual acuity, diagnosing ocular health conditions, and assessing depth perception, color vision, and binocular function. The Optometrist prescribes corrective lenses, manages conditions within their scope of practice, and coordinates referrals when specialty care is needed. This role works closely with an integrated care team to support high quality, patient centered outcomes.
