Security Guard - Access Control Driver

As a Security Guard - Access Control Driver in Saint Pauls, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. You will conduct access control duties, interact with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Assist with security-related customer service by providing information and directions as needed to individuals entering the facility.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activities.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns when appropriate.
• Collaborate with site personnel to maintain awareness of ongoing activities and address any security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
