Travel RN – Inpatient Pediatrics Float Pool

Location: Syracuse, NY
Start Date: 12/05/2025
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights / 12-hour shifts / Every other weekend + some holidays required

Position Overview:
Seeking experienced RNs to join the inpatient pediatric float pool at a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care across various pediatric units, demonstrating strong clinical skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent inpatient pediatric experience, including work in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers

• Current New York State RN license

• BLS required

• EPIC experience preferred

• Must have a strong clinical assessment ability and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients with minimal supervision

• Perform thorough assessments and deliver care in accordance with hospital standards and policies

• Float between inpatient pediatric units as needed

• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team and families
