CT Technologist - CT Tech
Job Details:
• Regular full-time position working as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist
• Perform various difficult radiographic examinations including routine and complex exams
• Position patients, select and set technical factors, and make exposures for requested procedures
• Calculate correct exposure factors of time, distance, kVp, and mAs
• Control image quality through patient positioning, compression, and image production
• Carry out digital radiology duties including loading readers and pushing images to PACS workstation
• Maintain and troubleshoot cassette readers, picture archiving systems (PACS), and radiology IT equipment
• Perform quality control for assigned modalities
• Monitor patients' vital signs and assess patient needs
• Must be qualified in at least one other modality besides general Radiology
• Maintain records of patient workload examinations, equipment, and radiation surveys
• Plan and coordinate work operations in radiology department
• Bachelor's Degree in applicable field and 2 years of applicable experience required
• Must be ARRT registered Technologist with CT and Mammography board certification required
• Must maintain ARRT accreditation including 24 continuing education units per biennium
• Physical requirements include ability to lift up to 10 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
• Must possess fluent English language skills and professional communication abilities
• Background check, drug screen, health assessment, immunizations and TB testing required
