Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians for a long-term locum assignment beginning January 2026. This is a busy emergency department with high acuity, steady patient volume, and multiple shift options to fit your scheduling needs.

Assignment Highlights

• Start Date: January 1, 2026
• Contract Type: Locum Tenens – 6+ months ongoing need
• Coverage Need: 18–20 shifts per month (2 FTE equivalent)
• Schedule: Days, Swings, and Nights available
• Shift Times: 6a–4p, 8a–8p, 10a–10p, 12p–12a, 3p–2a, 8p–6a
• Privileges: Temp privileges possible with clean file

Program Details

• Annual ED Volume: ~36,000
• Patients per Hour: ~2
• ED Beds: 16
• Admitting Orders: Required for some patients
• APP Coverage: None - Physician Only Coverage Model
• Trauma Designation: University-affiliated trauma center support
• EMR: Epic

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified/Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Active Missouri state license & Unrestricted DEA
• Clean file for expedited privileging
