Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Tennessee-licensed Emergency Medicine physicians for a locum tenens assignment in Fayetteville, Tennessee. This long-term role offers the chance to work in a Level 2 trauma emergency department with a well-established staffing model and robust clinical support.

Opportunity Highlights

• Location: Fayetteville, Tennessee
• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
• Setting: Community hospital emergency department
• Coverage: Starting August 31, 2026, ongoing for 6+ months
• Shifts: 18-20 shifts per month, including day and night shifts
• Patient Volume: Approximately 16,790 annually
• Hospital Beds: 48
• ED Beds: 14
• EMR: T-System

Schedule Details

• Shift options: 7a-7p or 7p-7a, with more day shifts available
• Days: All days of the week, flexible scheduling

Clinical Scope

• Evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of emergency medical and traumatic presentations
• Management of acute conditions across a Level 2 trauma setting
• Collaboration with internal medicine, OB/GYN, cardiology, orthopedics, and neurosurgery backup teams
• Documentation within T-System EMR
• Supervision of APCs during shifts

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Active Tennessee medical license
• Board eligible or certified in Emergency Medicine (ABFM, ABE - PEM)
• ACLS and PALS certifications
• 1-3+ years of emergency medicine experience preferred
• Ability to obtain hospital privileges within 30 days or sooner

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in Level 2 trauma centers
• Familiarity with T-System EMR
