Oncology Nurse Practitioner - Now Hiring

Coverage Needed:

• Start Date: February 1, 2026
• End Date: September 30, 2026
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Call Schedule: First call for patient phone calls and hospital phone calls Tuesday 4:30pm-8:00 am, Friday 4:30pm-Monday 8:00am
  • On site inpatient rounding Saturday & Sunday

Clinical Details:

• Practice Setting: Free-Standing Cancer Center
• Call Ratio: One rotation every 5-6 weeks, dependent upon staffing
• Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric
• Practice Composition: 65% benign hematology, 35% malignant oncology
• Number of Physicians: 8
• Number of APPs: 4
• Average Patients Per Day - Outpatient: 15
• Average Patients Per Day - Hospital (Call/Rounding): 20
• Clinical Area: Oncology - Outpatient and Inpatient Setting
• EMR: EPIC
• Required Duties: Mgmt. of Bone Marrow Transplants, Blood Bank, Orders Tests, Orders Images, Prescribes
• Administration of Chemotherapy: Nurse Oncologist

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology
• Active SC license (will accept providers needing to obtain a state license)
• BLS Certification
• DEA Certification
