Forklift Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse and production support team, ensuring the efficient movement of materials within the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: McCalla, AL

Pay Range: $17.50/hour

Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Operate forklifts to move materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse and production areas
• Manage computer system transactions for all materials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Assist in pre-weigh and production areas as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
• Follow safety protocols and participate in safety training sessions

What's Needed?

• Experience driving a forklift is preferred
• Ability to pass a vision and hearing exam, as well as forklift certification
• Comfortable learning and using various forms of technology (computers, RF scanners, systems)
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
