Job Title: Scaffold Carpenter

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced 1st Class Scaffold Carpenter to join our day-shift team at a shipyard facility. The ideal candidate is skilled in building, installing, and dismantling scaffold systems in accordance with safety guidelines and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Hang, build, modify, and remove scaffolding systems in various shipyard environments.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to determine scaffold requirements.
Ensure all scaffolds meet OSHA and shipyard safety standards.
Inspect scaffolding for proper assembly, stability, and safety compliance.
Work collaboratively with other trades and supervisors to support ongoing projects.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of shipyard experience in scaffold carpentry.
Proficient in hanging scaffold and assembling complex layouts.
Strong knowledge of scaffold materials, components, and safe-work practices.
Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding conditions.
Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial setting.
