Registered Nurse Job Details

• Start Date: December 15, 2025
• End Date: March 15, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1950 - $2090 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license (required for Springfield nursing jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN or Neuro RN experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Clinical experience with neuro, oncology, and general surgery patients, including IV anti-arrhythmic and anti-seizure medications
• Preferred: Chemo certification
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and every other weekend

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to neuro, oncology, and surgical patients in a telemetry healthcare setting
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer IV anti-arrhythmic and anti-seizure medications as ordered
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and post-discharge instructions
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
