Telemetry RN Job Details

• Setting: Intermediate Care Unit (Telemetry)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license (Illinois nursing jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry or Intermediate Care nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to provide requested time off (RTO) at time of submission
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients in the Intermediate Care Unit using telemetry equipment
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care
• Accurately document patient status, nursing interventions, and outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans, recovery processes, and clinical support
