Springfield, Illinois Nursing Job Details

• Location: Springfield, IL 62769 (Illinois nursing jobs)
• Unit: Cardiac/Pulmonary Telemetry
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse contract
• Start Dates: January 5, 2026 (December starts available)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (NOC), every other weekend required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1950 - $2090
• Patient Ratio: 1:6-7, supported by 2 clinical techs

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license (required at time of submission)
• At least 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with application
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Travel Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients in the Cardiac/Pulmonary Telemetry unit
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical techs, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Accurately document patient care and progress
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Educate patients and families on care plans and procedures
