HM Housekeeping Supervisor Job Details:
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Location: Houston, TX.
Temporary to hire
Starting Pay Rate: $19.00 / hour + (based on experience)

HM Housekeeping Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping and laundry.
- Responsible for hiring, training, and coaching housekeeping and laundry staff.
- Must perform "hands on" cleaning as needed.
- Must possess the ability to communicate in English to allow for the proper completion of work orders, budgets, daily and monthly reports.
- Performs routine inspections of all areas of the community, including resident apartments, offices, dining rooms, etc.
- Regularly exhibits strong commitment to customer services with residents, staff, vendors and guests.
- Works effectively and efficiently with others.
- Conduct or coordinate training of staff as directed by supervisor.
- Maintain all tools, related equipment and supplies in clean operating condition at all times.
- Assist in the choice and purchase of housekeeping supplies and related equipment.
- Required to keep accurate work records and inventories of hardware and software.
- All work to be done in a professional manner. High quality work practices, neatness, follow-up and clean-up are necessities.
- Strict confidentiality is necessary due to the sensitivity of records and conversions. Also includes security on all networks.
- Is clean and concise in communication skills.
- Accepts constructive criticism.
- Maintain work area and keep the department in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Effectively communicates both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrates the community hospitality promises towards residents, families, associates and vendors.
- Assist in monthly inventory.
Education Requirements:
- High school education or GED preferred, but not required.
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to read, write and follow written and verbal directions.
