Security Officer

We are looking for a candidate to fill our Security Officer position at Rome Health

Rome Health is looking an individual to fill a Security Officer position for our main campus. The hours will vary.

Job Responsibilities:

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property and monitoring surveillance equipment
• Controls traffic by directing drivers
• Responds to codes within the hospital. Codes range from fire, security assistance and possible active shooter
• Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities
• Investigates security breaches, incidents and other alarming behavior

Qualifications :

Must be able to stand for up to 4 hours

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds

Basic computer skills

Hourly rate : $20.00 to $21.50 depending on experience
