Safety Specialist

Job responsibilities and description:

• Conduct sitesafetyinspections and audits to ensure compliance withsafetypolicies.
• Assist with site-specificsafetyplans and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs).
• Provide field support to supervisors and crews regardingsafetybest practices.
• Facilitate new hiresafetyorientations and toolbox talks.
• Support incident reporting, near-miss investigations, andsafetyobservations.
• Maintain accuratesafetydocumentation and submit reports (Procore, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, MCIS policies, and projectsafetyrequirements.
• Serve as a visible fieldsafetyresource, promoting a proactivesafetyculture.
• Support emergency preparedness, fire watch, and heat illness prevention.
• Monitor PPE usage and ensure proper equipment availability.

Job requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the US.
• Willing to travel for extended periods of time, up to 2-3 months at any given time, if needed
  
• Ability to perform tasks involving physical labor at project construction sites
• Candidates may be subject to background checks and drug tests, if required by Project Job Site.

Job details:

• Full time role, guaranteed 40 hours of work
• Expected hours: 40 53 per week, Monday through Friday with weekends as needed
• Weekly pay, every Friday
• Multiple position openings available with immediate start dates!
