Pay: $15 / HR (Rate increase evaluated upon hire-in after 90 days worked)

Description
The Shipping and Receiving Specialist is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Duties include verifying shipment contents, maintaining inventory records, loading and unloading goods, and preparing shipping labels. The role requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Verify shipment contents and ensure accuracy of incoming and outgoing goods
- Load and unload trucks, using forklifts or manual handling equipment as needed
- Prepare and label shipments for delivery according to company standards
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies
- Inspect goods for damage and resolve shipping errors in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area
Requirements
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Experience with forklifts or other material handling equipment (preferred but not required)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in varying weather conditions
