Cascades at South Ogden Post Acute is seeking an experienced, passionate Dietary Manager to lead our dietary department and elevate the dining experience for our residents. ???? What You'll Do

As our Dietary Manager, you will lead a team dedicated to safe, delicious, and nutritionally appropriate meal service. Your responsibilities include:

  • Planning, directing, and coordinating all dietary department operations, including purchasing, staffing, and meal production

  • Supervising dietary personnel: hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, coaching, and performance evaluations

  • Ensuring all foodservice, preparation, and storage areas meet sanitation and safety standards

  • Managing and completing nutritional documentation within the electronic health record

  • Collaborating with the Administrator to maintain budgets, inventory, and departmental goals

  • Participating in interdisciplinary department head meetings

  • Overseeing menus that reflect nutritional requirements, resident preferences, and regulatory expectations

Your leadership directly enhances residents' health, comfort, and daily satisfaction.

✔️ Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or equivalent certification

  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local long-term care dietary regulations

  • Foodservice experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting (highly preferred)

  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience (preferred)

  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
