Mechanical Assembly Technician

Wanco Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician in our Arvada, CO production facility.

Summary:

Seeking Mechanical Assemblers to join a growing production team that builds high-end light towers and trailers.

Our team members will be expected to be trained in all the functions necessary to build our towers. You will be cross-trained through all the job stations to take on any role. Each job station requires attention to detail.

Essential Functions:

The successful candidate has experience in a lean manufacturing environment using an ERP system with an ability to be self-driven and go ahead with limited direction.

Key requirements include:

· Display a positive attitude and practice a strong work ethic that reflects the mission, philosophy, and goals of WANCO.

· Mechanical skills – bolting, drilling, general assembly, operating hoist/crane.

· Team player: cross-training and supporting peers with work that is outside of your, or their, core skill set.

· Identify and communicate quality, safety, and productivity improvement opportunities.

· Accurately capture materials and parts consumption using provided computer systems and software.

· Support other projects when needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Mobility to work in a large factory setting with walking, pushing, heavy lifting, standing, and sitting, while maintaining PPE requirements.
• Shift: M-F 10 hours daily (6:00 am-4:30 pm), with frequent Saturday work.

Salary Range: $19/hr – $21/hr
