Teaching Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher in maintaining classroom order and supporting daily instruction

• Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning objectives

• Provide one-on-one support for students needing extra help, including those with special needs

• Supervise students during transitions, activities, recess, and lunch

• Support behavioral and social-emotional goals under teacher guidance

• Help with classroom preparation, organization, and daily learning activities

• Perform other related duties to enhance the classroom learning experience

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or higher, or High School Diploma/GED with postsecondary coursework

• Active state-level licensure and/or certification, or ability to obtain

• Experience working in schools or with children preferred but not required

• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively with educators, families, and administrators
