Survey Drafter

Principe Engineering, Inc. is a rapidly growing local civil engineering firm with two

locations in Rhode Island (Tiverton, RI & Narragansett, RI). Our second division,

Principe Surveying, Inc is located in Woonsocket, RI. This allows us to maintain our

ability to provide a one-stop shop for our clients.

We are currently looking for a Survey Drafter who is looking to work for a small dynamic

firm with clients of all sizes. As a small firm, the ideal candidate must be willing to dive

into different projects.

Survey Drafter Job Responsibilities:

• Proficient in Civil 3D and/or Carlson
• Ability to process survey field data, prepare survey drawings, research

property information, prepare platting and mapping  

• Ability to Perform ALTA/ACSM, Boundary, topographic, and as-built Surveys
• The ability to meet deadlines and provide high quality service to clients

Qualifications:

⦁ A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience, with a strong preference for those

with a background in residential development

• Ability to multi-task and complete different time-sensitive projects at once.

• Ability to lead and work in a team environment.

• The ability to communicate clearly, concisely and professionally with surveyors and

civil engineers.

• Must be detail oriented

Required Education:

• Associates in Computer Aided Drafting or Land Surveying is preferred
