Are you passionate about delivering excellence in architectural design and construction? Our Architectural QA/QC Team plays a critical role in ensuring quality, compliance, and life safety across all architectural aspects of our projects. We champion risk mitigation, constructability reviews, and code compliance, including accessibility standards, while driving best practices and innovation.
What You’ll Do
- Review architectural designs, specifications, and contract documents to minimize liability.
- Mitigate risk through thorough document reviews, clear communication, and adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct constructability reviews to identify challenges and recommend solutions.
- Ensure every project meets the highest standards for quality and compliance.
- Guide project teams on architectural best practices, regulations, and accessibility requirements.
- Share insights through monthly bulletins addressing common issues and promoting solutions.

Administrative & Leadership Responsibilities
- Log and comment on drawing sets in the hub.
- Maintain accurate daily timesheets.
- Mentor and support technical staff through knowledge sharing and training.
- Provide impartial, constructive feedback during reviews.
- Engage proactively with all offices to resolve issues and promote best practices.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Professional Licensure/Certification: Professional NCARB registration or relevant certification is strongly preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of [15] years of progressive experience in architectural design, construction, or Quality Assurance/Quality Control, particularly in commercial, retail projects.
- Technical Expertise: Expert-level knowledge of building codes (CBC, IBC, local codes), Life Safety (NFPA), and ADA/Accessibility standards.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in relevant industry software: AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.
- Core Competencies: Demonstrated ability in constructability review, risk analysis, technical writing, and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams.
