Quality Inspector

The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing detailed inspections of orthopedic surgical kits and components to ensure compliance with company quality standards, regulatory requirements, and specifications.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Associates or equivalent

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of experience in quality inspection within the medical device industry; surgical kit experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA Quality System Regulations.

GENERAL SKILL SET:

• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task.
• Sensitive to deadlines and customer expectations
• Team driven, able to work within/out of the department.
• Execute responsibilities with minimal direct supervision.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to use typical software packages (i.e.: MS Office)
• Familiarity with ERP and electronic quality management systems
• Complete training and demonstrate safe operation of handling material, medical devices and/or equipment.
