Quality Lead Technician - $50,000 salary - Full Time

PMP Personnel Services is partnered with a client in Hillman, Michigan who is actively looking to hire qualified candidates who are ready to start immediately.

Quality Lead Technician Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the quality department
• Develop and implement quality assurance goals, standards, and methods to endure compliance with industry requirements
• Conduct inspections, audits, and reviews to maintain product quality and consistency
• Ensure incoming materials meet companies’ standards
• Drive permanent corrective actions throughout the facility with data supported facts
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and sales teams to address quality issues and customer complaints
• Promote lean manufacturing and six sigma principles to enhance efficiency and innovations
• Oversee gage calibrations and testing programs

Quality Lead Technician Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or 5-7 years of equivalent experience in quality management
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with QS and ISO requirements for automotive and non-automotive industries
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
