Manufacturing client in Keene, NH seeking experienced Quality Manager for immediate opening. In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

 

Primary Job Responsibilities- Quality Manager

Manage and lead the activities of a multidisciplinary team in accomplishing the goals and objectives of the Plant’s business plan related to the introduction of new products, continuous improvement of the quality system and overall customer satisfaction.

Specific responsibilities to include;

  1. Lead creation of the quality business plan objectives and foster an environment of root cause determination and continuous improvement
  2. Provide input and ownership for all plant issues as an active member of the Keene Plant management team
  3. Serve as a center of expertise for the Keene Plant for Product and Quality System information and be primary communication link between Global ADPC Business Unit, Quality and Supply Chain groups as well as primary manufacturing point of contact for all customer related issues.

 

Essential Responsibilities

This individual may generate and/or handle regulated (i.e. hazardous/non-hazardous) waste as part of this job. This must be disposed of in accordance with federal/state regulations

  • Lead efforts to improve customer satisfaction related to product quality and performance. This includes responsibility for the thorough and timely response to customer complaints, understanding customer quality system requirements and developing systems to satisfy those requirements
  • Assure that an effective quality system is deployed throughout the plant to minimize non-conforming product. Assume full technical responsibility for interpretation of quality standards
  • Manage all product and process audits to ensure compliance in all processes. Examples of these audits would include, AS9100 and ISO9000-2000 assessment audits, NADCAP, customer audits, internal quality audits, outgoing quality audits, layered audits, etc.
  • Lead Management team in review of plant quality metrics and promote the use of disciplined problem solving techniques and corrective action to drive continuous improvement in all areas of the plant
  • Advise Plant Management on quality related issues including operating department quality system audits, feedback, and corrective action plan development, problem process review and long term corrective action, operator testing, evaluation and retraining as needed for continuous improvement
  • Develop and execute a rigorous Talent Management process which ensure solid succession plans for all key positions and constantly upgrades our talent base

Technical/Functional Skills

Thorough understanding of Manufacturing process with excellent systemic thinking abilities

Strong root cause analysis background in 8D or other methods

Knowledge of OSHA regulations and experience with Safety, Health, and Environmental programs

Excellent understanding of Lean (TPS) philosophies and ability to teach/coach associates at all levels on lean principles

Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyze and interpret data

Demonstrated leadership and talent management skills

Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) including the ability to present to all levels of management with articulation of subject matter

Proficiency in MS Office suite

SAP experience
