Team Lead Job Summary

A large producer of foam seating and medical beds for varied customers is seeking a 2nd shift Team Lead for their thriving organization.

Team Lead Requirements

• Responsible for the daily maintenance of their team performance/metric board
• Maintains team member training matrix
• Understands and manages their teams quality requirements
• Drives continuous improvement process and initiatives to ensure CI of team metrics
• Able to use computer and necessary software to fulfill above defined responsibilities
• Working with a block of foam and cutting the foam to customer specifications
• Using math and measuring this operator will maximize the cuts and yield for orders

Schedule & Pay:

• 2nd shift 2pm-10pm with overtime as required
• $21/HR

Team Lead Qualifications:

• Two years manufacturing experience, one-year leadership experience preferred
• Excellent math and measuring skills and the ability to use a calculator
• Reliable and excellent attendance
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to look at a work instructions and use calculations to maximize the yield from a foam block
• Mechanical mind and a builder carpenter mindset
