Software Engineer Analyst

Top Wealth Management firm needs someone who has experience in the financial services arena.. understands trading and backed up with a minimum of 5 years out of a Top Firm!!

You need to have investment management experience! This is a must!

Also must work onsite ...5 days a week! M-F.

• Implementation of new and improvement of existing business applications.

• Work with various Investment teams, Trading and other business units to design, develop and maintain solutions that will enhance performance, automate workflows and reduce errors.

• Support existing systems.

Qualifications and Technical Skills:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

• Five plus years of software development experience with strong analysis, design, and modeling skills. Financial services industry preferred.

• Proficiency in SQL programming along with database modeling and design, primarily using Microsoft SQL Server.

• Proficiency in using C# and/or Java for back-end development.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, TFVC).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with one or more of the following will be considered a plus:

  • Markit EDM Platform
  • Data Warehouse Platforms
  • Front-end web frameworks like Angular/React
  • Large Language Models like GPT
