Assistant Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring a high standard of food service and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
• Support food management practices to ensure quality and consistency in food production.
• Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance their skills and improve service delivery.
• Handle cash management duties, including cash handling and reconciliation at the end of shifts.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and timely service.
• Participate in interviewing potential candidates and assist in the hiring process.
• Utilize Aloha POS system for order processing and reporting.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required.
• Proven skills in inventory control and food management practices.
• Experience in training development and staff supervision is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures is essential.
• Knowledge of food production processes within a restaurant setting is advantageous.
• Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
