Job Description
Position: CDL Hazardous Waste Driver – Technical Services Division – Environmental Waste Minimization, Inc.
Primary Duties & Expectations:
Primary duties shall be to perform pickups and deliveries of containerized hazardous and/industrial waste (drums, totes, cylinders and other containers).
Basic knowledge of transportation and environmental rules/ regulations.
The ability to load and unload drums manually, perform various labor functions as well as drive locally and regionally.
Employee is responsible to maintain a clean driving record and meet all driver qualifications required by the DOT.
Some overnight travel is required.
Support all Company divisions, including after hours/weekend on-call for emergencies.
The ability to solve problems, interact with clients and professionally represent the company.
Communicate follow up activities to the organization.
All employees are required to support and comply with all safety rules including all company policies and procedures.
Performances of all duties are to be conducted with safety as the top priority.
Requirements:
1-5 years industry experience
Valid driver’s license
Commercial Driver’s License with HazMat endorsement
