Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a high school setting located in Brookfield, WI. The role is contract-based for the current school year (CSY), providing 10-20 hours per week with a very itinerant student services caseload.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to high school students.
- Manage an itinerant caseload across multiple locations within the district.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student development.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and comply with district and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring.
Qualifications:
- Valid Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License.
- Wisconsin Department of Education Teacher Certification.
- Masters degree in Communicative Disorders or a related field.
- Experience working with high school students preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to an itinerant service model.
Location: Brookfield, Wisconsin serving a high school caseload with daily travel to various student settings as needed.
