Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting in Winter Haven, FL. This contract position supports students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a comprehensive educational environment. The role offers a consistent caseload and a structured schedule, ideal for experienced professionals passionate about pediatric speech-language development.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida Speech-Language Pathology License (required)
- Experience with K-12 populations preferred
- Strong skills in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 30 students
- Certified Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
Job Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: May 2026
- Work Schedule: 38.75 hours per week, 5 days per week
- Location: Winter Haven, FL
- Caseload: 30 students spanning elementary to high school
- Setting: K-12 public school environment
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in school-aged children, collaborating with educators and families to support student success, and maintaining detailed documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
