Schools - Speech Language Pathologist

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a current Kansas SLP License to serve in an elementary school setting within Flint Hills Special Education Cooperative. This contract role is available from ASAP through May 20, 2026, and offers opportunities for either full-time or part-time employment. Candidates must be able to work onsite.

Locations for this role include multiple districts: North Lyon, Southern Lyon, Emporia, Chase County, Madison-Virgil, Hamilton, and Morris County. Preference will be given based on current residence within these areas to facilitate onsite responsibilities.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Kansas SLP License required
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience working in school settings strongly desired
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments for students
• Develop tailored intervention plans aligned with student needs
• Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language challenges
• Monitor student progress and adjust plans accordingly
• Collaborate with educational teams to support student success
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
