As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, the LPN is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients through effective interpersonal communication. You will provide care and services that enable patients to achieve or maintain optimal physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational standards. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and reporting any changes in patients' conditions. Additionally, you will be expected to assign tasks, instruct, and offer clinical supervision to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) on a daily basis.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements- Completion of an accredited LPN program
- Active licensure/registration in the relevant state, with a requirement to maintain a valid Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout your employment
- Preferred: At least one year of experience in skilled nursing
- CPR certification required upon hiring or to be obtained during orientation; certification must remain current throughout employment
- Ability to make independent decisions when necessary
- Competently and knowledgeably provide quality nursing care to patients
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain a positive attitude towards patients
