Job Summary:
We are seeking a full-time Neurosurgeon to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will be trained in spinal surgery and comfortable managing a wide range of conditions involving the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Consult with patients, review medical histories, and formulate individualized care plans
- Perform surgeries involving the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including anesthesiologists, neurologists, and nursing staff
- Provide thorough preoperative and postoperative care
- Stay current with advances in neurosurgical techniques and emerging treatments
- Communicate complex medical information clearly to patients and families
- Maintain compliance with medical regulations and patient confidentiality standards
- Participate in hospital meetings, peer collaborations, and research initiatives
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and surgical outcomes
- Engage in academic or clinical research to advance the field of neurosurgery
Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified in Neurosurgery
- Residency and/or Fellowship Trained in Spine Surgery
- Arizona MD/DO license or eligible to obtain
