Job Summary
LEAD is seeking journeyman millwrights. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, assembly, repair, and maintenance of heavy industrial and mechanical equipment in our production facility. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Install, align, and dismantle industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to blueprints and technical specifications.
Experience with conveyors
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machinery, such as pumps, conveyors, and compressors, to minimize downtime.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical components of various types of machinery.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to understand equipment operations.
Operate hoists, cranes, and hand tools for moving and adjusting heavy equipment.
Fabricate and weld components as necessary to complete repairs or new installations.
Accurately document all maintenance and repair work for record-keeping.
Collaborate with engineers and other maintenance staff to complete projects.
Comply with all safety regulations and company safety procedures.

Familiarity with welding, rigging, and machine alignment techniques.

Completion of a millwright apprenticeship or equivalent technical training is preferred.
