Caseload Standards

Up to 25 billable hours per week with flexibility to work with adults, school-age, or early childhood populations with the ability to specialize in your area of interest.

Core Responsibilities

Tasks:

Effectively train & collaboratively coach teams of staff and caregivers across multiple natural settings

Implement naturalistic developmental behavioral intervention (NBDI) through play-based learning and implementation of the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM)

Work with each clients team during the intake and onboarding process to develop meaningful goals and targets and assess behavior.

Develop treatment plans: skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans that meet funder requirements, including health insurance and Medicaid standards.

Trains and provides coaching to the RBT team to teach treatment plan skills and objectives.

Support each clients team with management of challenging behaviors in natural settings.

Provide direct work with learners, regular supervision, and consultation on all aspects of services, including skill acquisition goals, behavior management, data collection, and procedural integrity.

Engage consistently in professional behaviors: communicate appropriately, effectively, and clearly with colleagues and clients.

Ensure contracts and billable hours are completed per funding sources and designated amounts.

Qualifications

A masters degree with a certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst is required, and consultation experience is preferred.

3+ years of experience as a BCBA working in the field of autism/disabilities

Experience leading and supervising teams of clinicians/RBT

Experience providing supervision to students completing courses and field work for BCBA certification

Experience writing and implementing treatment plans for insurance and/or Medicaid funding

Familiar with a variety of assessments and curricula used to support individualized program development for learners.

Proficient in collaborating with families and caregivers

Experience working with either adults or children on the Autism spectrum and/or neurodiverse individuals.

Strong leadership and teaching skills.

Excellent communication and listening skills.

Knowledge or desire to increase knowledge in typical child development and NBDIs.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently, set priorities, delegate, and meet deadlines.

Early Childhood Candidates must have experience working with early and/or school-aged children (ages birth-10) and the ability to engage in warm reciprocal interactions with children through play while embedding naturalistic teaching.

IN ADDITION:

  • Must be 21 or over and have legal working status
  • Valid drivers license with no major violations in the past 5 years
  • Clean background check with no felonies or flags
  • High school diploma required
  • Flexibility to travel for occasional professional development and resident activities
  • Personal smartphone with texting capacity
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, social media)
  • Must be able to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 pounds)
