Position Summary

The BCBA plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality, individualized ABA services at our Baytown Center. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping individuals with developmental and behavioral challenges achieve their full potential. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing treatment plans, conducting assessments, and providing supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).

Note: Our commitment to quality means your BCBA caseload is no more than 12 clients at a time—approximately half of the industry standard. Pre-Certified BCBAs are strongly encouraged to apply!

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessment: Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and skill assessments.

  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on detailed assessment results.

  • Supervision & Training: Provide direct supervision and training to RBTs and other team members, fostering a successful and supportive environment.

  • Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate client progress diligently through data collection and analysis.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent and effective implementation of treatment plans.

  • Compliance: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services provided.

  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in ABA.

Qualifications

  • Certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. Pre-Certified BCBAs are encouraged to apply.

  • Education: Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.

  • Experience: 1 year of experience working as a BCBA preferred, preferably in a clinical/center-based setting.

  • Skills: Strong knowledge of ABA principles and methodologies, excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Technical: Proficiency in data collection and analysis software.
