Job Description
Salary: $70-$90 Hourly

Job Summary:
The Allicock Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team.

A BCBA is a graduate-level professional certified in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) who assesses and creates plans to improve or change behavior. They work with individuals to increase skills and reduce challenging behaviors, often specializing in areas such as autism, developmental disabilities, or mental health. BCBAs conduct assessments, develop strategies, provide consultation, and supervise other professionals to ensure quality and consistency of care.

At The Allicock Group, the BCBA will oversee behavior analytic services, design and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide supervision and guidance to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other support staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, exceptional leadership, and a commitment to improving the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental or behavioral challenges.

A supervising BCBA has a broader scope of responsibility than a standard BCBA. In addition to conducting assessments and developing treatment plans, they supervise RBTs, review documentation, sign off on hours, provide feedback, ensure ethical compliance, and coordinate with families or schools. Compensation for supervising BCBAs is competitive in the Washington, D.C. area and similar markets, reflecting the additional oversight and leadership responsibilities associated with the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Design, monitor, and adjust Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment programs based on data-driven outcomes.
  • Provide ongoing supervision, training, and professional development for RBTs and other support staff.
  • Review documentation, ensure ethical compliance, and sign off on RBT supervision hours as required.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistent implementation of interventions across settings.
  • Collect and analyze data to assess program effectiveness and client progress.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with BACB and organizational standards.
  • Uphold ethical and professional standards consistent with BACB guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and family consultations.

Qualifications:

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or BCBA-D certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Completion of the eight-hour BACB supervision training and at least three hours of continuing education in supervision per certification cycle.
  • Minimum of one year of post-certification experience providing or supervising ABA services (preferred).
  • Ability to provide documented supervision, including observation or review of at least five percent of each RBTs monthly hours, and to maintain signed supervision contracts with all supervisees.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing ABA treatment plans and providing performance feedback to staff.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Must pass background checks and complete all required training.

Work Environment:

  • School, clinic, and/or community settings.

Compensation:

  • Competitive hourly rate or salary, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Benefits package available for eligible full-time employees.
