Warehouse Worker

*Job Title:* Warehouse Worker *Position Summary:* The Warehouse Worker is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and equipment used in fiber optic network construction and maintenance. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* *Inventory Management:*
* Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of fiber optic cables, hardware, and related materials.
* Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
* Organize and store materials in designated areas for easy retrieval.

* *Material Handling:*
* Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move and stage products.
* Prepare and load materials for delivery to job sites according to project schedules.

* *Logistics Coordination:*
* Assist in scheduling and coordinating deliveries and pickups with internal teams and vendors.
* Ensure timely and accurate distribution of materials to field crews.

* *Safety & Compliance:*
* Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
* Conduct routine equipment checks and report any maintenance needs.

* *General Warehouse Duties:*
* Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
* Assist with cycle counts and periodic inventory audits.

*Qualifications:*
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* *Forklift Certification* and proven experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
* 1-2 years of warehouse or logistics experience (telecom or fiber industry preferred).
* Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plain City, OH.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
