Assembler

Metal Stamping Manufacturer – Holland, MI

Full-Time | 1st Shift 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

Pay: $18/hr

• Assemble mechanical components, stamped parts, and sub-assemblies according to blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and measuring equipment to complete assembly tasks accurately.
• Inspect parts for defects, proper fit, and alignment before and after assembly.
• Perform basic machine operations such as drilling, deburring, tapping, and hardware installation.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, BOMs, and assembly instructions.
• Work collaboratively with production, quality, and engineering teams to identify and resolve assembly issues.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE use and safe handling of tools and equipment.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with 5S and lean manufacturing standards.

• Previous experience as a mechanical assembler, machine operator, or related manufacturing role preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and measurement specifications.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Basic math skills and the ability to perform measurements with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and strong teamwork skills.
