Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Avon Park, FL is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to provide essential support throughout the current school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to play a vital role in the educational development and emotional well-being of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Assist in behavioral management strategies and consult on classroom modifications
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly

Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist

- Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
