About the Role:

We are looking for bright and innovative senior engineer who will be working closely with product development team, and be part of systems engineering group. The role will be responsible for planning feature testing and uncovering complex bugs, and drive them to resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Review Functional and Design specifications and Microarchitectures of SKHMS SSD Products.
  • Develop test plans for specific device/system under test, based on PRD and End-Customer deployment scenarios.
  • Build and maintain test setups and engineering labs for System Quality Assurance testing.
  • Execute test cases as per test plans, and report results.
  • Automate test cases, manage test suites, and automated regressions.
  • File defects based on automated and manual testing, track bugs and work with Failure Analysis and design/software engineering teams to resolve issues.
  • Participate in Customer Qualification Plans' development and execution, based on Customer requirements defined
  • Engage with customers in ES/CS phase, and develop professional and positive relationship with the targeted customers
  • Ensure quality of products being developed and delivered to the customers.
  • Utilize AI tools to make CJQ and OS Certification process more efficient, and predictable.
  • Identify and implement new innovative solutions which result in improved workflow and value delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience with Hardware/Software projects
  • Prior experience in Storage product QA is required.
  • Experience working with various flavors of Linux OS, Windows Server OS and Virtualization (VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper-V), is required.
  • Experience in the use of scripting languages (Python and Shell Scripting).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with NVMe SSDs and NVMe controllers
  • Experience in functional verification of Storage, RAID, Flash, and various File Systems, utilizing 3rd party tools are highly desired.
  • Experience with Enterprise grade Servers, and various Operating Systems are highly desired.
  • Experience in HDD/SSD/Storage products' testing is highly preferred, with understanding of SATA and PCIe/NVMe Protocols, and OCP and NVMe specifications
  • Experience working on Projects related to Solid State Drives (SATA/PCIe/SAS), in various OS environment (Client / Server-Enterprise) is a plus.
  • Experience with AI tools to make development and verification processes more efficient, and predictable.

Education Requirement:

  • BS in either Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

COMPENSATION: $110,000/yr - $155,000yr
