Lofty Coffee in Encinitas, CA is looking for kitchen team members to join our fabulous team. We are located at 90 N Coast Hwy 101 Encinitas. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and engaged.

Compensation: $14 hourly + tips up to $10/hour. Health Benefits for Full-Time employees. Free beverage on-shift. Employee Discount on meals.

Job Description: 

This job contributes to the success of Lofty by delivering exceptional customer service and crafting delicious food. Kitchen team members must be able to perform all essential functions including but not limited to food preparation and plating, delivering food to and interacting with guest to address concerns and needs, bussing and cleaning tables, opening the kitchen and setting the stations up for the day, closing and cleaning the kitchen adhering to company standards and SOP's.

Our team members must act with integrity, honesty and align with the values and ethos of Lofty. We are small teams in busy cafes and we work hard together to deliver an excellent guest experience and to create a positive work environment .

General Duties

• Deliver excellent guest service.

• Craft food meeting quality standards and following company SOP's.

• Deliver food to guest & bus tables.

• Maintain a clean and organized café following company standards and guidelines.

• Perform all opening and closing procedures including dishwashing.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Prior cafe, restaurant, retail experience or customer service preferred.

• Must have excellent verbal communication skills with guests, teammates and supervisors.

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays to support business needs.

• Must be well organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task under pressure.

• Must be reliable, punctual and positive.
