Warehouse Delivery Driver

Tradesmen Electric Inc. is a highly reputable and well established electrical contractor located in Battle Ground, WA.  We are currently hiring for the position of delivery driver.  This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, and occasionally on Saturdays.
 
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for receiving and placing inventory into stock, picking and packing orders for delivery in a timely and accurate manner.  Also responsible for picking up goods and delivering to specified locations, loading and unloading, warehouse keeping and inventory control.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Knowledge of warehouse product and the location of the inventory within the facility
• Pick and properly fill orders, will call, process material transfers and shipments 
• Check merchandise in against receiving ticket
• Deliver orders to and from jobsites
• Load and unload deliveries by hand, with use of a hand truck or a fork lift
• Customer service with outside agencies
• Keep complete records as requested
• Inspect vehicles and equipment before use and follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Other duties as assigned

 
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus)
• Drivers will be required to meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Clean driving record is a must
• Must have strong organizational skills and ability to use technology as appropriate
• Ability to use forklift and other equipment as necessary
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• This is a safety sensitive position. Applicant must be able to pass a drug test, background and driving check
