Work Environment: MTSD Schools (Nitrauer Elementary School, Reidenbaugh Elementary School, Bucher Elementary School, Landis Run Intermediate School, Spooky Nook Sports.)

Summary: This position is responsible for managing the score clock during Manheim Township Youth Basketball League games. Level of play is from Grade 3 through Grade 8, both boys and girls. As well as a Highschool Recreation League Grades 9-12.

Essential Functions
1. Managing the game clock, keeping track of scores, fouls, and possession in a fast-paced environment.
2. Responsible for setting up tables and chairs as needed before games.
3. Work with officials during the game to ensure accuracy of the game clock, fouls, and score.
4. Responsible for tearing down chairs/tables after games are complete as needed.
5. Ensure area of play is clean after games.

Physical Requirements
1. Ability to demonstrate physical fitness to include frequent light to occasional heavy lifting (up to 30 lbs.) standing, and walking for long periods of time, bending, pushing, and pulling.
2. Able to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time and intermittently.
3. Ability to reach with hands and arms, push items overhead, occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
4. Ability to talk, hear, and see.

Competencies
1. Ability to operate scoreboard controllers.
2. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with officials, players, parents and coaches.

Skills
1. Scoreboard operations.
2. Decision Making – uses logic and reasoning to understand, analyze and evaluate situations and exercise good judgment to make appropriate decisions.

Additional Eligibility Requirements
1. Must pass required State, Federal, and FBI Background Checks
2. Must obtain CPR/AED Certification within 60 days of employment
3. Ability to provide reliable transportation as required by nature of position.
