About this job
We are seeking to hire experienced full-time Nurse Practitioners (NP) and/or Physician Assistants (PA) to join our healthcare team. You will be working collaboratively with other healthcare providers in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) in the Philadelphia area providing comprehensive care to patients.
Utilize your skills and expertise to diagnosis, treat, and care for patients in skilled nursing facilities. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to communicate and work well in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine health status and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic evaluations.
- Monitor patient responses to treatments.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA.
- Utilize electronic health record systems for documentation and patient management.
- Educate patients and families on health management and wellness strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively.
Skills
- Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Experience in medication administration protocols.
- Understanding of infectious disease care protocols.
- Ability to navigate electronic health record systems.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple patients and tasks efficiently.
Requirements:
- Authorized to work legally in the United States
- Licensed & Board Certified to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Pennsylvania
- Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting (preferred)
- Ability to work well with others in a team setting
- Strong work ethic and commitment to providing high-quality care to patients
- Fluency in English
- Fast learner, ability to work quickly and efficiently
