Overview
We are seeking an experienced, energetic and skilled Physician Assistant to join our growing Family Practice healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in family medicine, with experience in various medical settings including , preventative care, acute care, chronic illness care in patients 18yrs and older. This role requires excellent clinical judgment, the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare staff, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Duties
As a Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for the following:

• Conducting comprehensive physical examinations and assessments of patients
• Performing diagnostic evaluations and interpreting medical history
• Managing acute pain and providing treatment plans for patients
• Managing chronic conditions and referring patient's to specialist
• Utilizing EMR systems such as eClinicalWorks for patient documentation
• Educating patients on health coaching, nutrition, and disease prevention strategies
• Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical records

Experience
The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:

• Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-10 coding systems for accurate billing practices
• Experience with telehealth services and outpatient clinic environments
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices
• Experience and ability to work independently
