Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant - Surgery - Vascular for our client in Colorado!

Job Responsibilities

* Provide first assist in vascular surgery procedures
* Support general, endovascular, and complex vascular surgeries
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including APPs, MAs, RVTs, and a full-time provider
* Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and care coordination
* Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled

Qualifications

* Board certified through ABMS or AOA
* Active Colorado medical license
* COVID-19 vaccination required
* Clean malpractice and background history
* Must disclose number of years using Epic and the most recent usage date

Working Hours

* Must be available to cover two extended weekends per month (Thursday through Monday or Tuesday)
* Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60?90 days

Skills

* Proficient in first assist for vascular surgeries
* Experience in procedures including bypass, fem-pop, aorto-femoral/iliac, peripheral, carotid, thoracic, and abdominal surgeries
* Skilled in placement of vascular access devices and subclavian steal procedures
* Familiar with Epic EMR system and efficient documentation practices
* Ability to work effectively in a trauma-level hospital environment

All travel expenses are reimbursed by our client and Orchard covers malpractice insurance with tail coverage!

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $175.00 - $185.00 per hour
